Windigo Economic Development Strategic Plan Workshop

Location: Best Western, Dryden ON
The purpose of the Windigo Economic Development Strategic Planning Workshop is to generate input and feedback from the leadership of each WFNC member community to create a road map for Windigo First Nations economic development for the next 3 to 5 years.
We will be focusing on:
- Generate mission, vision and values statements
- HIghlight and evaluate key successes (each community to present to group)
- Review relevant background information.
- Develop SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)
- Discuss overall key success factors
- Develop objectives and strategies for the overall group for the next 3 to 5 year period; and for each community (tbd)
Windigo has accessed funding from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund (NADF) to assist in the development of the Windigo Economic Development Strategic Plan. Windigo First Nations Council will cover the costs of travel, accomodations and meals for the Chief, Council member and Community Economic Development Worker from each community.
